Brian W. Hankla received his B.S.B.A. degree from the University of North Dakota in 1981 and
his law degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, in 1985. He was admitted
to the Texas Bar in 1986, and the North Dakota Bar in 1989. Brian is a member and former president of the Ward County Bar Association. He is currently president of the North Dakota Council of School Attorneys for the 1999-2001 term. He is a member of the Ward County and American Bar Associations, State Bar of Texas, and State Bar Association of North Dakota. Brian has delivered public seminars on Corporate Law Issues, Real Estate Purchase and Lease Transactions, School Law, and Probate & Estate Planning. Brian is president of the Minot Recreation Committee, a board member of the Minot YMCA, and a past committee member of the Fundraising Committee of First Lutheran Church. Brian practices in the areas of Banking, Business Transactions, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, School Law, and Estate Planning and Probate.
